On Wednessday morning, for the first time ever, Jon shot limits of white sea bass. He normally avoids such a feat due to the heavy work that naturally ensues with cleaning the fish, cooking, packaging, & giving away the fish, getting rid of the carcus' etc. But this year has been a particularly slow diving year for Jon. With studying for his Captains test, he has not been afforded many opportunities to dive and the ones he has been afforded have been less than ideal, due to conditions of the water, etc, etc. In the end, these fish were a ton of work for Jon and he said he would never again shoot three on the same day. But when it was all said and done, the abundance of fish made for an incredible impromptu BBQ with some pretty special friends and families. What made it even better was that Jon's buddy Shook went out and shot one right before the BBQ so he had an uncleaned fish to show all the kids. It was pretty incredible to watch the kids gather around the big fish, touch it, and listen to Aaron explain its biology.

That's typical Aaron, biggest smile on the planet captivating all the kids regarding the biology of gills. |

I love this pic of the girls posing together with the fish. |

Most, but not all, of the kids that came to the BBQ rocking out in Eden's room. Assembling a band, doing what kids do. |
