Ready, Set, Halloween!

It seems like the fun and the activities surrounding halloween are endless around here. In addition to the simple fun of pumpkin carving, patch visiting, and dressing up we also have Ben and Tara's bday in these last couple weeks of October. Eden can not get enough of these guys, especially Tara. Last night she could hardly fall asleep in anticipation of carving pumpkins with her today.

These pics are from a bday celebration for Ben a couple of weeks ago. Tracy gave the kids the cutest halloween goodie bags!
This was our first year doing the neighborhood "boo" thing. Not sure we did it quite right but it was a fun activity to put together with Eden.

 Pumpkin Carving

I didn't capture any great moments from the pumpkin carving today. It's actually kind of hard to carve pumpkins with four kids running around under the age of four. You find yourself doing most of the work, not to mention knife guarding...makes it hard to get a good pic. Aside from all that it was actually really fun.
I had to include this one with Zion's finger in his nose again. My only possible explanation is that it's cold season and the poor guy really is kind of bugery.

Grandma Kathy & Cousin Caydence!

Grandma Kathy & cousin Caydence came for a quick visit this weekend. It was so special to spend some time with them, and as soon as we got home from dropping them off at the airport Eden was asking when Caydence would come back to visit. I'm sure I will be hearing a lot about both Kathy & Caydence in the next few weeks.

How's Zi's finger in his nose? Nice Zi..
These two hit it off right away....
Zion pushing his truck around. Do you know how heavy that thing is? Too heavy for me to push.

Sea World

I love Caydence's sunglasses peaking out from behind the stroller.

I wanted to do something festive for halloween while Kathy & Cay were visiting. There were a few fun activities going on around town but we were all too tired to do much after our big day at Sea World, so after dinner we put on our costumes and paraded around the neighborhood for a bit. I can't begin to convey in words how much fun this was. Moments like these are such a great reminder that kids really do thrive off of simplicity.

Saturday Soccer & Beach

I really enjoyed seeing Caydence play at the beach. It was far too cold to be running around in bathing suits in the water, but you can see from the pics that she didn't seems to mind at all (at least for a while).

Eden was looking far too grown up in my old Israel shirt, drinking tea out of Dad's coffee mug.
