Pics from skate days throughout October. It's fun for me to see the kids progress through these pictures. It was at the end of this month that Zion decided to really try skating for the first time. I remember taking him to the skatepark - it was really special because we were going without sister - just for him, and all of a sudden he started rolling into almost every section of the park. Stuff that seemed to take Eden weeks to work up to when she first started he just walked up to and rolled in. But Zion is different than Eden. He has a completely different mind set than she does. Where Eden will work and work on something; be it one move, one flick of the shoulder or move of the ankle - Zion will do the move just once and be done. For Zion it is a matter of accomplishment. For Eden it is an art.
