I realize that I say this with a considerable amount of bias, but little Eden was quite the soccer star this year. Most games she scored one or more goals and there was one game in particular that she scored 6 goals! But the goals are not what made her such a star. What made her a star was the spirit with which she played. She played each game either smiling ear to ear or with looks of stern concentration and often laughing hysterically between plays with pure joy. I never played soccer growing up. To be honest I semi-dreaded the whole soccer mom thing. But Eden's joy in the game was contagious and now that it's over there is an emptiness. She too was sad on the last game. She wore her soccer uniform for the rest of the day holding on dearly to the last remnants of her last game.

| Eden often calls this guy her best friend. Being able to hang out with Merek after her game and watch him finish his game was the perfect end to a perfect season for Eden. |
