One of Eden's best preschool friends had a science birthday party at the beginning of the month. The kids were overjoyed by the whole event and it really helped to fan Eden's interest in science which began last month with an outer space curriculum at school. This party came on the heels of a family field trip to the Science Discovery Center in San Diego and an IMAX of outer space so the timing of the party could not have been better. And yesterday one of the boys in her class shared a science kit that he has at show and tell and Eden is certain she needs one of those now too. When I told her that her Grampy was a real scientist she was pretty impressed. I'm hoping Grampy can show her a few cool experiments over in Kauai in a couple of weeks. Anyway, it's fun to see Eden embrace this scientific side. I think it suits her and her ultra-observant introspective personality.
