We had a nice time celebrating Father's Day over the weekend. On Sat afternoon the Walla's met at a park to BBQ. Nanny moved to San Clemente rather recently and this was the first time she was able to join us at the park for one of these picnics. It was very special to have her there, and it feels like such a relief to have her so close by now. On Father's Day itself, Jon had to work and my Dad was sick so we weren't able to go see him. The kids and I had a quiet day at church and home then went to the new fire station to visit Jon in the evening. They had a big BBQ for all of their families. It was actually pretty cool and fun to celebrate him there. The only thing missing over the weekend some quality time with Grampy but we are hoping to get that in soon enough. (:
