We headed out to Joshua Tree on Saturday with a family that went to Point Loma with us. We didn't really hang out in college but have since connected due to our common interest of climbing and kids. It was a rare treat to be out there climbing with fellow parents and made for a very special day.
We got to the park pretty early. I love all of the long shadows in the early sun. The kids jetted out of the car and got busy exploring straight away.

Eden seems to prefer the freedom of bouldering to the cumbersomeness of rope climbing. If you are not watching closely enough she will be way too high too quick.
