Last week we had such a special visit from Clare. It was the most quality time we have ever spent with her and we all enjoyed getting to know her a little bit better. Both the kids were enamored by her, each talking of her and asking for her for days after she left. Zi came to call her simply "my friend" and would repeatedly ask me "Where did my friend go mom?" and "Why did my friend leave?". Eden was obsessed with playing "Red Light Green Light" with her, particularly because she had this very creative way of incorporating all the colors of the rainbow into the game. Each color had a different command, like clap for blue, make an animal sound for orange - it was really pretty great and Eden could not get enough of it.
