We had a very special visit to the Wild Animal Park with the Walla cousins during Tracy's spring break. We went to see the butterflies, as they are only there for several weeks out of the year, and I could have stayed in that atrium with those butterflies all day. I think Eden and Zion could have too. It was pretty incredible! And though Zion's day started really well with the butterflies, the rest of the day sort of unravelled for him. After the butterflies, he was bitten by a parakeet; then just before we left he was lightly rammed by a goat - both of which were traumatizing to him - neither of which will make him do anything differently in the future (i.e. not grab the parakeet's head or not pull the goats hair). Altogether though it was such an incredible day - a perfect visit to the zoo!

| Eden was pretty good at putting her finger next to the butterflies and coaxing them to crawl onto her finger. She did this over and over and I never did get that perfect picture to capture it - I think we were both just too excited! |
