Eden is pretty serious about riding her bike these days. So much so that I have started to wonder if BMX (of all things) will end up being her passion. She is always trying to think of new places to ride and gets excited for any longer downhill routes that she can think of. One of our most recent adventures was the almost 2 mile downhill trek to Kaylanis Coffee shop. I was extremely skeptical, knowing that a downhill trek like that makes for one heck of a long trek BACK UP. We have walked down there many times in the stroller so she knew just how long the trek was and insisted that she wanted to do it. On the way down she kept telling me how much fun she was having and that she wished we did this every day, she would take these silly little breaks where she would start stretching out her shoulders... so random. By the time we were headed back she was pretty toasted, but she made it almost the whole way home on her bike. I was amazed by her endurance, determination, and follow through, such a trooper.

Since Eden is so into riding these days, we decided to take her down to our local skate park to see if any of the ramps were 'do-able' for her. We went on a Saturday and it was crazy crowded so we didn't even enter the park but the kids could have sat and watched the action all day.
Instead of trying the skate park we headed to the hills to give the trails a try. But it had been raining for a couple of days and the mud felt like it was knee deep by the end. I should have gotten a picture of Eden's tires, not the mention the strollers.
