Eden and I had our first day of mommy and me preschool this week. It is run by capistrano unified school district, meets once per wk from 9-12 at the local elementary school, and will run through mid January. For Eden, the best part about it is that she gets to wear her backpack (with snacks inside) to and from school. Otherwise the whole experience was slightly traumatic from Eden throwing herself down to the ground in a fit of rage over wearing a name tag the second we walked through the door to the fact that she was what appeared to be the only child refusing to participate during circle time, but I think she will warm to it, and then it will be fun and worth it and everything else.
