Dana Point Tide Pools

We visited these beautiful tide pools that are right in our back yard for the first time ever the other day. Jon calls them advanced level tide pools because it's pretty hard to maneuver around them. Because of this Zi was pretty frustrated most of the time, but Eden had a blast. She could have stayed for hours and days.

I feel like the kids are on the verge of growing out of this place. I also feel like I have watched them grow up here. It's a place they have enjoyed so much since they were babies. Such a wonderful gem to have so close to home. 

Dana Point Christmas Lights

I came by these photos from the Dana Point Harbor Christmas lights. This was the first year that they put on this event and it was so incredibly special to have such a beautiful light display so close to home.

Doho Evenings

These pics are from one of Eden and Jon's late afternoon surf sessions late last month. These evenings are so special for them, and so painful for Zi for some reason (he is kind of a wimp about the cold - gets it from his mommy).

Walla Cousin Love

Every once in a while we get a good burst of the Walla cousins. Hanging out with this crew never gets old. Each time is the best time. They are one of the many blessing we count daily.
